Making a Cornell Interactive Note-Book

A video example on how to create your own Cornell Interactive Notebook. It is a powerful study tool that can help transfer new information from short-term memory to long-term memory.

This tool combines Cornell Interactive Note-taking with Interactive Note-booking.

Brain Research suggests that studying online alone often does not help the information transfer to you long-term memory. It is still important to write new content down in a meaningful format in order for this information to stick for a longer-term inside your brain.

Good luck and have fun creating your own CINB and don’t forget to come visit me at www.americanlli.com for more exciting tools for learning.

Do you know the difference between Dolch Sight Word Lists and Fry Word Lists

Dolch sight words are based on high-frequency words that students in kindergarten through second grade typically would be reading.

The Fry words list is based on the “American Heritage Word Frequency Book”, whose 87,000 words are ranked by the frequency in which they occur in reading material for grade 3 to 9.

These word are as important as learning the alphabets and sounds. Learning of a new language often practice some of the more difficult vocabulary words however the words that are most often mispronounced are the common and most frequent words.
